Now that the release clause has been lifted on Lewis Grabban, other clubs are now joining the race to sign him.

According to Bournemouth local news journalist Neil Perrett, Steve McClaren could join relegated Cardiff City in the race for in-form Cherries striker Lewis Grabban.

The 26-year-old was the star man at Bournemouth this season, scoring an impressive 22 goals in 43 starts for the Cherries.

Unless promoted, it is unlikely the Rams will move for Grabban who, going on previous season, will unlikely to be in their financial range.

He definitely said it about Javi Guerra, but I'm not sure he's said anything regarding Grabban

Derby would be a better option for the lad in what ever division they are in, Derby are a well run club, unlike the circus we have down here, I would imagine if he has a decent agent, that's what he would tell the lad, however Derby in the Championship may not be able to afford his wages

I'm sure ole doesn't give a fuk,I don't think he will sign for us tbh I'm neither here nor there about him either really think we should spend the extra 2-3 mil and get deeney who's proven over a longer period at championship level,not saying he's a bad player but if he's not jumping at the chance he can slide on

To be honest I dont think we will be buying that many players.

I think we will be getting them in on season long loans. It makes more sense.
