Ole says deal was water tight, but now other clubs close in

Wed May 21, 2014 7:56 am

Personally I think Ole should keep it to his staff and himself about future signings till they are done, its bad enough us on the forum with our inputs and speculation

Wednesday 21st May 2014.

Now that the release clause has been lifted on Lewis Grabban, other clubs are now joining the race to sign him.

' Derby County join race for £3m Bournemouth star '

According to Bournemouth local news journalist Neil Perrett, Steve McClaren could join relegated Cardiff City in the race for in-form Cherries striker Lewis Grabban.

The 26-year-old was the star man at Bournemouth this season, scoring an impressive 22 goals in 43 starts for the Cherries.

Unless promoted, it is unlikely the Rams will move for Grabban who, going on previous season, will unlikely to be in their financial range.

It was Perrett that broke the news about Cardiff's accepted bid. No doubt told by Grabbans agent.

I think you have got the transfer with Guerra mixed up, its that deal Ole told the press was watertight.

Did Ole say that about Grabban - I thought it was the Spanish player who he said was a water-tight deal?

He definitely said it about Javi Guerra, but I'm not sure he's said anything regarding Grabban :bluescarf:

He said the Guerra deal was water tight, not the Grabban deal. In fact, I don't think the club have even commented on the latter?

Derby would be a better option for the lad in what ever division they are in, Derby are a well run club, unlike the circus we have down here, I would imagine if he has a decent agent, that's what he would tell the lad, however Derby in the Championship may not be able to afford his wages :bluescarf: :old: :bluescarf:

So by your logic nobody should ever sign for the club because of how it's run

I'm sure ole doesn't give a fuk,I don't think he will sign for us tbh I'm neither here nor there about him either really think we should spend the extra 2-3 mil and get deeney who's proven over a longer period at championship level, not saying he's a bad player but if he's not jumping at the chance he can slide on

To be honest I dont think we will be buying that many players.

I think we will be getting them in on season long loans. It makes more sense.
