Best opposition player at CCS 13/14 ?

Eden Hazard for me, the Man is a rolls royce of a player. His pace and movement was a joy to watch..

He was totally anonymous against us

Gerrard was outstanding.

He did have a quiet game, but you see he's class when he did get into the game

Puncheon.....those goals he scored really hurt.

Andros Townsend impressed me at the time.

I agree Townsend was quality down here as was eriksen in the same game .

Who do you think was the best player you seen down the stadium this year ?
Ramsey > Coutinho > Barkely would probably be my picks.

Rooney, although he should have been sent off

Ramsay was on another level against us this season.

I also thought that Lallana looked incredible and Fellaini had a good game playing for Everton. He was involved in everything.

I thought Fellaini was very average for Everton. I said to someone at the time that I didn't think he was anywhere near Man Utd standard.

I thought Loic Remy was great against us

Have to say (and I dislike him and his team intensely) that Rooney was the player who impressed me most

Rooney had 2 bad touches in the entire game, the 1st was his goal (scuffed) and the 2nd was just after Kim scored when he tried to square the ball to Welbeck

You got it in one,Gerrard was immense down here.He picked the ball up deep and just hit pass after pass from all angles,absolute class.

Christian Eriksen I thought was fantastic against us at ours.

First name that sprung to mind for me.

I thought Oscar was great down here , constantly finding space and his short passing was some of the best I've witnessed , constantly able to pass it when crowded and through extremely tight gaps.

But on the whole Gerrard takes it for me.

Rooney as much as everybody loves to mug him off he is a world class player.

As much as I don't like him, Wayne Rooney. I thought he was everywhere and cleaning up after people's mistakes etc.

Rooney was the luckiest player at CCS all season. Should've been sent off.

The singing made up for it, though. Funniest chant all season.

Suarez and Gerrard where ridiculously good against us,rooney carried an average utd team.Ramsey though overall for me,hes the complete midfielder and would have walked the player of the year award if hed have stayed fit.

When we played Crystal Palace at home, Wilfried Zaha played well against us

Lallana but SOTON in general ripped us to bits- The hardest 29 mins ever down the CCS.
