If I remember correctly, for Ramsey people were suggesting a loan move was on the cards as no-one expected him to perform to the level he has

I am expecting Ole to look at them again, well maybe not Nyland if Marshall stays, but if Caulker goes I am 99% Forren will be getting eyeballs. Especially since Forren publicly stated he would be very keen on a reunion with Ole.

If Caulker goes, OGS will look at Molde.

But Forren will meet competition from fellow players. Even Hovland is playing just as good this season so fare. I think OGS was a little put off that Forren couldn't make it in Southampton, even because of the manager being sacked just when Forren arrived. Maybe Forren lacks mental toughness?...

But the full defensive line-up in Molde looks good. All picked out to the coming internationally friendly.

But the most talented player in Molde at the moment is the 19 year old striker Mohamed Elyounoussi. If he hold up, he could be someone for the future.

Norwegian talent is a LOT cheaper than English talent. But OGS will have a lot more knowledge about players in GB, than he had when he arrived. Anyhow, I think he will try to keep the squad pretty stable to next season. If not given offers to good to refuse. (Marshall a must keep, hopefully).

How would you rate Forren vs Turner?

They are very different. Forren is left footed and has his passing as a main strength. Very modern type center back, brings the ball forward through the opposition team himself. He was bought in jan 2013 by Southampton. At the time he was fantastic. Aerially dominating and a real asset offensively, but he hasn't been as good since being back at Molde.

I think Solskjaer will watch him very carefully as he is exatcly the kind of CB he likes, but right now Forren isn't convincing. He is slowly getting there though, and I'd bet he is highly motivated to perform again because Solskjaer would pick him up in a heartbeat if he plays consistently like he did in 2012. My prediction is that Solskjaer will hold off on bringing in a replacement for Caulker until he decides on Forren. And he can observe Forren until the Norwegian league takes a break in the middle of June.
