Just heard, my mate in the States was killed by a woman in a car texting on her phone she got a two year ban.I am not telling you for sympathy , but it dawned on me ......I wonder how many deaths are mobile phones involved in, to me it seems almost everyday. Why do it ?

I nearly had a head on collision last week, the other driver had his phone to his ear and i had two of my daughters in the car with me at the time. It's irresponsible and tougher deterrent's are needed.Just pull over if you need to use the phone.

Selfish people, simple as that, they know it's wrong but just don't care. When it was legal I did it but since the law change and awareness campaign I stopped using the mobile while driving.

I have to say women seem to be the worst offenders, but personally after this I will just not answer my phone whilst behind the wheel , I dont text at all so that bit doesnt affect me. I am not judgmental , it just seems a no brainer, I will go farther and say that that texting is far worse than talking . Neither is the answer.

Its not just mobiles.
As I leave Cardiff for work on Eastern Avenue not a day passes without me seeing a woman doing her make up.
Not talking a brush across the face. I have seen two putting on mascara. MASCARA. It's driving you need your eyes.
Blokes are no better. I've seen an open file held across a steering wheel and a car I thought was driving itself, the driver appeared from the passenger foot well. Don't ask...

Unfortunately that what it takes for most of us.
I wont judge either. Temptation is not the sin but many times I've felt like answering or reading a text while driving.

Its the world we live in today mate, just look at all the people walking around with their eyes glued to theirs phone screens not looking where theyre going. I know its not driving while fuking about with a phone, but it gives you a little indication as to where peoples priorities lie today. People are obsessed with their phones...especially the younger generation, they can't leave them alone for 5minutes, and driving from A to B in a car is way to long to go without making a text or checking up on a twitter feed etc for some. I nearly got bingoed crossing the zebra crossing over St Mellon's tesco the other day by some bint on a mobile... If I could've caught the car i would have torn it apart with her sitting in it.. Just missed me
