Old photo can anybody help?

Can anybody put a date to this photograph of the old Bob Bank? We think it is from around 1954/1955, a recently departed Cardiff fan is in the foreground of the photograph and members of his church would be grateful for any information.
Hope somebody can provide valuable information.

Just a guess 52/53 season when everybody wanted to see city play after our promotion from div 2. I missed the first month through being overseas in the army
