Deserved it and I'm glad someone other than the big 2 win the title. Can't decide who I want to win the Champions League, would like to see Real win it just to see Bale get a winners medal.

What a result for the Spanish league. Shakes it up a bit. And with athletico building a new stadium to rival the big 2, we could see athletico challenging the big 2 for a for a few years to come

Trouble is the TV deal in Spain is so lopsided this will be a one off, like Valencia 10 years ago. Half the TV money goes to Barca and Real, the other half is split equally between the other 16 teams. Barca and Real are also allowed to negotiate seperate foreign TV deals. Atletico are also about €300m in debt and need to sell at least €30m in players every season to satisfy the bank. Makes their achievements this season even more remarkable.

Atletico were 10th last season when Simeone took charge, he won Copa del Rey last season, sold Falcao and won la Liga and in final of Champions League this season. Fantastic manager.....

Great job he's done IMO getting Vigo to top 10, would have been nice to see a shake up though rather than go with the same old mould
