Lewis Grabban: Cardiff have made their move
Cardiff City have met Lewis Grabban's £3million release clause and they hope to finalise a deal for the Bournemouth striker.
Sky Sports revealed Grabban's release clause earlier this month, and also how Middlesbrough had become the first club to open talks with the South Coast club.
However, Cardiff have now made their move for the striker, and they are understood to have triggered his release clause and it is understood terms are almost finalised.
Bournemouth and Grabban's representatives are now awaiting Boro's response, who know what they have to do to in terms of matching the offer.
Grabban is currently understood to be on holiday and will not be returning until the middle of next week.
