Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham set to move for Cardiff duo

CARDIFF CITY, DAVID MARSHALL, STEVEN CAULKER

Steven Caulker and David Marshall are rumoured for Cardiff City departures, and the three Premier League greats are battling to get their signatures, according to the Mirror.

Liverpool failed to land the Bluebirds skipper last season, and Brendan Rodgers, who had the centre-back on loan at Swansea, will look to add to his back four in another bid for the Premier League title.

Caulker and Marshall to White Hart Lane?

Arsene Wenger is accordingly wanting to give Wojciech Szczesny competition by signing Cardiff’s shotstopper, and offer him Champions League, rather than Championship football.

Tottenham are reportedly interested in both the goalkeeper and their former centre-back. Marshall made more saves than any other keeper in the league this season, and could come in handy in the eventual scenario of a Hugo Lloris injury for Spurs. Caulker has a clause in his contract that transfers 50% of the transfer fee to White Hart Lane, which basically means that they can get him for half the price.

Both Caulker and Gary Medel, who is also linked out of the Cardiff City Stadium, have clauses in their contracts that will allow them to leave as the club dropped out of the Premier League.

All want Marshall as a number 2! Would he actually want that?

Get a bidding war going and screw as much out of whoever buys the players.
