I wont be supporting anyone in the world cup (except nigeria who i got in the sweepstake!)

not sure why someone would support a foreign country just because theirs isnt in it

I've always supported Brazil at international level. Most people from Wales pick a team because Wales hardly play compared to the big names. I first started getting into football in the 2002 World Cup so I could only really choose Brazil, I just loved the way the played even then

Yes.

The English League is our League there the players we watch every week. I'd rather they'd win then walk around saying I support Brazil it's as bad as being a Liverpool fan that is.

Won't support anyone, looking forward to watching it though except for the England hype which has started already....

would you pick a premier league team if cardiff were in league 2?

Its something kids would do

Seeing people walking around in Holland or Brazil tops just doesnt look right to me.

No. I don't support another team when we get knocked out of the cups nor do I support a team in the Champions league. I'll watch as a neutral

No I wouldn't, I feel it's different with International teams. I don't buy the shirts or anything, jut a team I follow in the international tournaments.

Germany due to being 1/4 German, be wrong not to take the chance to back the country where my nan is from considering how good they are at Football. :laughing6:

I support one team a tournament, I say support but I don't really. Last time I backed England was Italia 90, was taken in by that English team. Some great moments from that World Cup with Linekar and Gazza etc great team full of character. 1998 they really believed their own hype and we had to deal with that golden generation bollocks for 2002-2010 even though they were really shite in the latter.

Euro 2012 I noticed they weren't hyping themselves up as much so who knows, I might back them this time round. One of my pet hates is seeing people down the pub celebrating each goal against England as if it was their own team, a bit of banter is fine but some people hate England more than they love Wales and it's just pathetic. Live and let live, we support a Welsh based English league team full of English players so I find it out people hate the country with a passion.

Germany for me. Not support so much...more looking out for them. Just something about Germany I do like. As for England, nothing against them as a country, or English people, but when it comes to sport, I do see them as our main rivals, (they probably don't see it that way) but we do cross swords a hell of a lot, wheher it be club and international rugby football, ice hockey, cricket ect we are always up against them in some sporting form or another...more than any other country, so I just can't bring myself to support them....its just a sporting rivalry for me, if we crossed sporting swords with Scotland or Ireland as much as we do with England, then I'd feel exactly the same way about them also

One of my grandparents was English even though he moved to Wales when he was very young so there is English blood in my family line. I can't say I would ever properly support England but I won't be against them winning it. I'd rather England win it than some random country like Brazil, Argentina or Germany that I have no association with.

I will not be supporting the english team at all,
i'd rather cheer on their opponents when they have the ball.
