' Latest Down at the Cardiff City Stadium '

Tue May 13, 2014 1:34 pm

They are now taking the seats out of level four, replacing them press tables for Super Cup.

I believe the Stadium is now 3-4 weeks behind on their work.

Has to be completed before 18th July 2014.

Still at this moment in time they intend for red seats in the section of the new upper Ninian Stand.
Approx 900 of the 5,000 new seats have been sold.
Most of these 900 sold are fans who have come from other parts of the ground.

I hope that area is sold out so that we don't have to see the red seats!

Just cover your seat with a blue flag or jumper if it's read

Red seats in new area?

Reminds me of the first car your mate bought after passing his test. One odd door and the bonnet red lead. Scruffy.

All seats will be red in a couple of years.

I was told by someone in the club that there will NOT be red seats going in the new stand, I suppose only time will tell.

I think people seeing fire resistant painted RSJs automatically assume red seating, Id be absolutely shocked if there are any red seats put in.....

The red RSJ's will remain exposed as shown in the architects designs.

I was thinking, depending on site security, they would be easy to spray blue in the early hours of the morning.

I meant from the club not fans with spray paint and a big ladder :laughing6: they will probably have more police dogs down there :laughing6:

Most people now think the seats are now blue, will be interesting to see if they are ?!?

I had it on good authority from a club board member that they would be red closely followed by level 4 in the grandstand being changed to red.

If they now turn out to be blue I think it will show Tan is having a rethink. If not he is still a stubborn c**t.

Disaster then, after saying he would compromise putting in red seats would mean it's not much of one and still involving red.....

I'm working down there at the moment, the job has got 10 weeks to be completed if its not completed on time there is a £250000 a week penalty clause, as the season is over now they will be working 7 days a week and long hours to get it finished on time

It would not be easy even if there was no security at all.
