Magnus Wolff Eikrem

Gonna be one of our standout players next season I reckon :ayatollah:

I'm looking forward to seeing him next year, he's got the potential to be quality for us. It's up to Ole to fit all these midfielders into an effective system, tough job to get right in my opinion. :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

Should provide competition for Whitts and should hopefully develop. You can see the potential in him, too many on here have written hi off way too quickly.

Can only see him being a squad player , unfortunately has shown nothing to suggest he will be a starter , behind whittingham , Gunnarsson , Kimbo , Cowie , and Mutch already for a midfield position. I'm pretty sure we will strengthen so may struggle to make the bench .

Mutch could go, Kim could go and Cowie is going, he can easily make it in our match-day squad

But they could all just as easily stay . I can't see us losing many midfielders plus he will recruit more .
If they go he has a chance , if they stay it will be similar to this season

Common knowledge Cowie isn't re-signing with us and is keeping his options open, I'd say our CM's is our most in depth and our strongest position, we just need a new CDM

I'd have liked to have seen more of his this season. I like his style, he looks forward, looks for the pass.

I forgot which game it was where he cost us a goal but apart from that he really dominated the game. Maybe prem was a step up to far for now but championship he has a chance to show his stuff.

Time will tell with eikram , we haven't seen enough of him to make a proper judgement I suppose but the lack of game time this season would suggest he isn't ready yet for this level, the championship maybe a different matter hopefully he will come good :ayatollah:

I don't really rate him at all, he's had 1 decent game, other than that he's offered nothing. That game against Bolton in the cup he looked League 2 standard at best. Hopefully he will come good though.

As for Kim and Gunnarsson I don't see how people can say they're garbage. 2 of our more important players in the championship last season. Also Gunnarsson had a great game yesterday, but let's not let agendas get in the way of that.

Don't think eikrem will come gd at all, doesn't matter wat standard your at if you can't pass the ball properly and keep giving away stupid possession you won't get picked hence why he never got a tidy run he was woeful at bolton and every time he come on gave the ball away cheaply and seeing this was someone who ole said would make a impact I'd not be surprised if we moved him on this yr,would love him to prove me wrong but I think he's far from good enough

Because this has nothing to do with Ole or Malky yet you're an annoying cretin who will do anything to do that.

I was backing Eikrem because I see talent, bye

eikram is no better than Whitts

Re: Magnus Wolff Eikrem

Not seen anything in the limited games I have watched him that changes my mind that he guesses his passes and is going to be a liability.

The good news is Ole seem to understand something about Whitts as he was excellent again against a champion league semi finalist team on Sunday as he has been since his return. I just wish Medel goes without too much of as loss ass he slows the game down too much

Id say Gunnar is staying, knowing about how to rough it in the championship but I think Cowie & Kim are gone

How you can see talent in the short time you've seen Eikrem is beyond me. He looked decent away to Man City but has drastically looked off the pace since, putting in poor performances home to Wigan and Hull. He then comes on at Newcastle and the first thing he does is hit a square ball so far backwards, it almost goes out for a corner! I hope he comes good, but the fact you see talent in him so far is bizarre to say the least! Be honest, you're backing Eikrem because he's Ole's boy. Bye.
