Can't actually see many City players named in the squad, and doubt if any (Caulker possibly) remotely even crossed his mind. The time I did that post about the future England spine, I think we all thought Caulker would eventually break in. Campbell was scoring regularly in the Championship and I was thinking with an injury free season in the Premiership, Campbell could break back into the England squad, especially as Bothroyd got capped. I have said for a while I believe Jordon Mutch will get capped in the future and I still think he will. Then with David James tipping Moore to be a future England number 1, I'm hoping he will live up to that one day.

I just looked at my post again and it was a post to big up the good, young English players we had in the squad at the time. But with Caulker and Campbell already getting capped, that just leaves Mutch and Moore left for us to have a future spine of England internationals. Moore is 23, which is very young for a goalkeeper and Mutch is only 22, so there's still plenty of time.
