' Thanks from the Supporters club '

As another season has now drawn to a close a big thank you to everyone who has travelled and supported us throughout the season.

Almost 12,000 supporters chose to travel with the Cardiff City supporters Club during the season to league and cup games, which proved to be a difficult and challenging, season. As always there were plenty of good times travelling on the coaches to at least compensate for some of the low points. We also had great success as usual at the kids Christmas party and players presentation evening so big thank you to the club for supporting both events.

This is my ninth relegation with the Bluebirds but for many of you it will be your first such is the success of the club since 2000. Without question this 14 year period has been the most successful in the years I have supported the club with 3 promotions, 2 cup finals, 5 play off campaigns, Premier league football, and a number of big league and cup scalps. We will bounce back that I am sure about look forward to seeing you all next season where we will be running trips to the pre-season friendlies, cup games, league games, and all the Wales euro qualifiers.

Here are 10 things to be positive about championship football;

1. 8 more league games adding value to your season ticket
2. More competitive league and unpredictable
3. Cheaper tickets for away games
4. Less ticket restrictions more available
5. Supporters more passionate better atmosphere
6. 6 new teams to play every season
7. Whatever league position you hold you are either involved in a play off place or relegation battle until the last game or two.
8. Chance to win more games home and away
9. Score more goals
10. Can stay in the pub until stop tap and still get home in time to watch the football league show

Thanks again Vince for your friendly efforts and help this season and me and son really enjoyed our away trips this season, despite the unanticipated events at West Brom which Im afraid is something that can happen to any genuine city fan being in wrong place , wrong time , but at least positive ending lol .
