1) Tan already has crapped on this clubs tradition
2) Numerous compromise options have been offered in the past only to be rebuffed
3) The club has continued to be a circus under his ownership - numerous things can be mentioned from Malky to the painter etc.
4) He still hasn't completed the debt to equity conversion 2 years after the initial statement
5) His compromise makes no mention of the hideous badge forced on the club yet this is apparently a 'compromise'
The club will never die and Tan knew that. He knew a fan base unified would tell him where to go so instead he divided the fan base to conquer us and turn us against one another. Then he can play the 'I saved your club' nonsense card but the truth is if there was no buyer the club would have been put into administration and would have been reborn as a phoenix club. The fans simply wouldn't have let it die. Would we have probably suffered a few relegations and not experienced the Premier League? Yes but we'd probably be in blue with our rightful badge. The fans are the life and soul of the club and therefore the club will never die. I don't recall Leeds United or Portsmouth dying. Both of them are still in the league system. One of them we will be playing next year.
He's only saying this now because the club has been relegated and Championship football isn't as appealing to many as Premier League football. He is purely saying this so people continue to buy season tickets and buy into his vision for the club.
The best thing that can happen is for Tan to leave and the sooner the better!!!
