160 million in debt.

Sun May 11, 2014 6:31 pm

only a tabloid but must be some truth if any of our fans still believe that were going to transform debt to eqiity they are quite frankly dillusional..

right now tan is the only thing keeping us afloat and lets compare it to a game of roulette.
tans down millions the only way our debts can be wided off now is if he wins huge and the odds of that are incredibly long.

failing that our finances will go into meltdown.

nothing short of a pompey situation.
we need a miracle and a clean invester worth billions to turn this club into a top ten club and avoid
ending up like leeds and pompey

No wonder the UK economy is shot.

Debt problems? Cant pay off your credit card? How about taking out an even bigger credit card

Learn your lessons man. The last thing your club needs is another "investor".

Fuking daunting, and anyone on about rather going into administration, are probably in for a shock if we do go to the wall. We'll more than likely end up playing in the welsh like with AFC in front of our name. Fuking hope tan gets to grips with this debt and sorts it out before we go down the drain

We end up like Pompey anyway, just a matter of time !!

At some point enough is enough..Time to call Tans bluff

160mill and still rising at a rate of knots. I think its getting to the point where administration won't be an option. Instead we will go the same way as rangers, only there's no garentee the English fa will let us reform in the English pyramid. Its getting worrying now. If its gunna happen then I'd rather it happen now when we still have a slim chance of saving our club. Tan is gunna end up fukng us over, I can feel it. End up stripping all our assets to get as much money back as he can and leaving what's left for the dogs to feed on, if things aren't going to plan next season and he can't find a buyer. His resent outbursts are worrying

Î see your point mate, but look at the size and pulling power of that club compared to us! There would probably be a cue of middle east billionaires ready to buy them out

The relevance of their debt to your predicament is what exactly? You do realise the difference between your income streams and utds?

I agree man utd have alot of power and those debts will never rise to the surface, they have too many connections ''in know how''
Footballing Royalty.
160 million is a hell of alot for a premiership club.
in the championship 100 million is enough to crush almost anyone.

I dont think tan even has an answer.

we need to Overturn all of our overheads, transfer dealings and club financial budgit to break even.
before we can even start to chip away at that 160 million

effectively were looking at 180-200 million -

Maybe building an extension and training ground isnt ideal?

Boltons is £164million. We're not in as bad a position as some championship teams.
As for utds income stream, do you realise how much interest they pay each year.
