After 38 games a goal here and a goal there keeps us up, even if we concede as many as we did. Whoever the manager was going to be, it was always going to be tough without a decent goal scorer.

Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan has laid the blame for relegation firmly at the door of former manager Malky Mackay.
In a remarkable video interview with WalesOnline, Tan slams his former manager for his dealings in the transfer market, accusing him of 'almost killing the club'.
Tan and Mackay's relationship was blown apart early this season, with the owner accusing the Scot and former recruitment chief Iain Moody of a £15m summer overspend.
Both man have always denied the accusations, but they both issued apologies to Tan earlier this week as Mackay dropped legal proceedings against the club and reportedly walked away without a penny of compensation.
In his most incredible interview yet, Tan said there was one man mainly responsible for the club's relegation.
"The main person responsible fro relegation is Malky Mackay, the hero of fans," he said.
"They should ask why he apologises? They should find out from him.
"Legally, I'm not supposed to say. I wish I could say. but I can't. Ask him why he apologises.
"His friends supported him to be a big hero, unfortunately their hero almost killed this club and I was not going to be putting more and more money in.
Furious Tan goes on to heavily criticise Mackay's dealings in the transfer market, revealing his discontent over the signing of Andreas Cornelius and his incredulity the young Danish striker was paid £45,000 a week.
He also insists former Cardiff manager Dave Jones would have done a better job than Mackay and says it was HIS investment and not Mackay's abilities that got the club promoted in the first place.

Of course he has a point and i agree with him but hes still a total idiot even his latest thing on converting a little debt if we get back to the prem and a supposed compromise two years on just makes me cringe when it was ALL DEBT TO EQUITY just for turning red we was promised. Probably would have.
1) Rodgers did it on next to nothing
2) Jones found great bargains in the market - Marshall, Whittingham, Hudson, etc. all of whom were great in promotion season
3) He kept us competing at the top whilst having to face financial restrictions and selling best talents
