His PR machine is running at full steam, as this is brilliantly timed to pacify the fans to mute any protests today.

Why not just change back now?????

He also thinks he is James Bond...funniest thing I have read in ages.

It does need to be done now.

Don't believe a word he says anyway.

I've come to that conclusion to. It's just a cheap publicity stunt by Mr Tan. Some one, somewhere, has got to get through too this fella!

A cynical PR stunt.

On the positive side, for the first time he has stated he might talk about a change back to blue - we need to keep the pressure up to bring him to the table sooner.

Full of shit. Just do it for next season Mr Tan so we can all unite and concentrate on backing the team.

I think this could backfire on him big time as people realise they are just being played.

I find it hard to believe him considering a return to the Prem is not a given, we could be in the Championship for another 10 years and he would have (hopefully) long gone by then.

Why he wouldn't do it for next season is baffling. Just screams PR stunt as someone alluded to, to try and mute the protests later today.

so he will turn only SOME of the debt into equity leaving us with only 100 million in debt LOL, can everyone remember the headlines City to be playing in RED but Tan stated one of the conditions was turning he would 100 million into equity Debt free now he's saying the debt is to big to turn it all into equity , lies just walk out of is mouth.

I've been saying this since day one. Where has there ever been £100m asset within the club to turn it all into equity. Considering over the last 2 seasons he has increased his share holding with very little debt to equity change means there now is even less asset to convert.

I am surprised our more knowledgable accountant fans have not pick up on this.

It is part of the PR element.

Fans wanting debt to equity conversion - by doing at least some he mutes the protests, but still leaves himself all his exit options.

Im pretty sure he doesnt actually say we might return to blue, he just says a compromise which just means he'll try to force us to accept the red
