Ole's comments ref the rebrand and 'unity'

Sat May 10, 2014 3:36 pm

'I understand tradition and history and that it affects many people. You would hope that this is going to be resolved. There are matters in and around the club you really look forward to just moving on.'

'Its hard to discuss that (the rebranding) because I am employed by the club and it's not my remit to give you my opinion, but you would want everybody to be united.'

Is it just me or do you sense he really would like Tan to turn us back to blue ??

Yep, I think he does.

I think he's wanting to but he can't fully say it as he will be sacked.

Yup but unfortunately the position he's in as an employee prevents him from saying it.

When did he make these comments mate ?

If they are true, why can everyone else see the right solution apart from Tan himself ? Or is he just too stubborn.

Definately, he knows turning blue and reuniting the club would give him a fantastic chance to win us promotion and enhance his reputation.

It would be so good for Tan, Ole, the players, the fans and everyone associated with Cardiff City, I believe we would fly if we turned back blue this season :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

Come on Tan or any of his advisors, you have £Millions invested, you would be a fool not to take this opportunity and repair the damage and your own reputation, you would be seen as much stronger.......

Everybody knows it makes sense apart from one man.
Someone tell him he would become a hero if he changed us back to blue and restored our badge.
He would then have a united club and all the adoration he craves.
Someone tell him!!!

Ole really is clever with his words. He actually ADMITS that he is an employee of the club so it would be wrong to give a personal opinion.

While employed by the club Malky backed the club.

They both gave the same answer but Ole explained that as an employee what else would he say. A clever little bit of hope that he may be on our side?

It's obvious that Ole is on our side, and has been since day one.

Imagine the impact changing to blue over the summer would have on the club. I really think it would help you bounce back :bluescarf:

Tan will never ever change from the red back to blue, imagine how much face he would loose, he would never do it, not a chance I am afraid :bluescarf: :old: :bluescarf:

You could tell by the first media Q&A I thought.

Hopefully his healthy contact with Tan can come in handy in being a bridge as well.

This followed up by Tans statements means they really know we should be doing it. I am convinced it will happen now, it's just a case of this season or next. :bluescarf:

We need to push for this season for a unified push for the Premier League, it's never dull being a City fan......

Remember that when Man Utd got new owners sometimes late in his career, Ole was the one player going out in the media defending the clubs traditions. No way he would support the idea of changing a clubs colour and brand just like that.
