I've been put in a position before where I was demanded to apologise to someone for something I hadn't done. I refused to, got more principles than that

If he was convinced that he had done nothing wrong, then surely the court case goes his way and he gets his compo right? (4m wasnt it)
THe very fact hes settled means there must be something that we dont know about in all of this.

Part of a settlement deal maybe..? For example: We will give you so many shares on condition that you would make a public apology.

how much do you think Norwich would be willing to pay him exactly?
even if it was 1m a year its still doesnt compare to what he was rightfully owed (providing he did nothing wrong)

Malky knows that the longer he's out of football his stock will drop and he needs to get back into football asap if he wants to continue his career in football management. Potentially its a longer term view point than a short term gain and I can imagine his agent is in his ear to get back into football asap

do you know the wording in the original agreements then..? There are many average jobs out there which have clauses in the original contracts which stop you going to competitors for a period of time if you ever left the company.

wrong again, you see alot of it in sales for example. Companies are very worried that anyone who leave their company would take their customers forexample so when they sign up there would always be a clause in it that would can't work for a competitor for a period of time after you leave the company. Normally its 6-12 months afterwards.
