At the moment that is how I see it.

The whole story is scattered with anomolies but it seems that the SETTLEMENT actually means Malky has dropped his suit and settled for no money.

To say It's confusing is an understatwment

I think if Malky was in the wrong, a settlement would not have been agreed because Tan would have pressed charges. Tan isn't going to just accept a public apology from Malky if he's stolen millions of pounds from him is he? The Daily Mail link states "Sportsmail understands Mackay hasn't received any compensation and paid own legal fees, in addition to issuing apology." There's nothing factual about that statement, it's an assumption.

Also, Malky's statement is very carefully worded: "If I have caused any offence to anyone during this time, especially to Vincent Tan, then I apologise without reservation."

Malky isn't admitting to anything and he hasn't made an apology in his statement. It will be interesting to see if anything else gets revealed.

However, the Moody apology is strange as he walked straight into the Palace job and therefore, Moody wouldn't have been entitled to any compensation from us. So why has Moody apologised?

Both Malkys and Moodys statements sound as if they have a gun to their heads in front of the camera:

Malkys 'The club’s owner Mr Vincent Tan invested heavily in the club and supported our decisions in our push for promotion to the Premier League. Without him this would not have been possible'.

and

Moodys 'There is no doubt that Mr Tan’s significant investment in the club was decisive in our success of reaching the Premier League so my thanks are particularly directed to him'.

Perhaps Tan had enough evidence to prove them both of wrong doing, therefore a settlement was agreed with no compo paid and everyone keeps quiet for the sake of all parties and the club.

Thats one scenario, but without knowing the truth a number of scenarios can be made from this final outcome.

NO CASH SETTLEMENT.......is whats been reported, im sorry ..but dont shoot the messenger.......go and argue with tan or malky or carl ...im only going on whats being said..........for all i know tan gave them a gold castle each on mars and private space shuttles to ferry them back and forth..........
