Now obviously none of us know (or will know) the real truth, but I work for the Intellectual Property Office and deal with disputes on a daily basis, and honestly, most disputes are settled before it actually reaches the final stage. Most of the time both parties will come to some agreement to avoid all the fees and hassle of a tribunal. You have to remember, whilst Malky settled, so did Tan. Malky will want another job, and the longer this drags on the longer it'll take for him to get one. We will never know, but who do you honestly believe is the guilty party, Malky or Tan? Why did he apologise? Well, it's the professional thing to do, and puts Malky in good light for a new job. So please, respect what Malky has done for us, he gave us the dream and whether his signings blew it for us, we will never know, but lets remember we all make mistakes. Lets play Sunday and then re-build, and let's stop slating the people who made some great times happen

Haha behave.....Cornelius was deemed not good enough having barely featured for 90 minutes of premier league football, yet OGS deserves more time. Just a thought....

Cornelius was our marquee signing, a team that was crying out for a goalscorer to have a chance of staying up had just spend 8 million ona young "up-and-comer"
To make matters worse, we were paying him 700% more in wages than he was previously earning, and the manager who signed him stated that he wasn't yet ready for football at this level.
That is beyond shocking, and perhaps you could make a case for Malkys other signings but most certainly not that one.
Its a totally different scenario to the Ole one.

that was not an apology though........it was an apology written by the defendants lawyers to achieve maximum effect.....or were those words that ingratiated tan what sprang to mind with both moody and malky

I don't see how apologising makes him look professional, makes him look pathetic.
And if that's the case why did moody also do a groveling act when he is already in employment?

the major point in all of this is there was no cash settlement..........and both malky and moody made pretty pathetic sounding apologies..........so malky to avoid fees......will you say you dont want 4million.......tan is a great bloke.......and you apologise for being stupid enough to complain............YES
Vinnie........do you mind if you dont give him 4million.......?..erm only if him and moody read these pre written ingratiating statements and apologise wearing borat outfits......
malky..ok but no borat outfits
agreed
