Great Night and Thank you Vince Alm and Clive Francis for yet another good night and all the hard work you put in to it

Steve Borley and Simon Lim were both present.

Wilfred Zaha, Only player to fail to turn up even though he knew he had to.

Steven Caulker was the other player, but was genuinely ill.

He has made save after save this season, as the Bluebirds defence has struggled to cope with the Premier League but now David Marshall has been rewarded for his efforts - by the fans

Goalkeeper David Marshall was voted by the Cardiff City fans as the star man in their first ever Premier League season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men might be on their way back to the Championship, but Marshall has had a magnificent season and won two trophies during the club’s annual presentation evening.

The showpiece of the event, organised by Cardiff City Supporters Club, was the player of the year award and Marshall was crowned with that one after being handed the Cardiff City Supporters Trust Golden Boots Trophy for clubman of the year.

A year ago, after the Bluebirds had won the Championship title and secured their place in the top flight, Marshall was narrowly beaten to the big award by captain Mark Hudson but the keeper, who has made 149 saves so far this season, was not to be denied this time round.

Young Welsh starlet Declan John was voted CCSC young player of the year, a trophy which went to centre-half Ben Nugent a year ago.

CCSC goal of the season went to Jordon Mutch for his strike at Fulham.

Solskjaer, his coaching staff and players all attended the awards night at Cardiff City Stadium, held a few days before Sunday's last Premier League hurrah against Chelsea.

Out of interest, who won the awards last year? Is it 2 in a row for Marshall?
