Let's hope he plays shit then.

Valladolid chairman Carlos Suarez said that Guerra is definitely signing for Cardiff

Re: Javi Guerra

Wed May 07, 2014 11:32 am

Be shocked if he did.

Re: Javi Guerra

Could be similar to Brighton's Ulloa? :ayatollah:

Re: Javi Guerra

Was it Roathie who said he would definitely not sign for us if we went down?

Re: Javi Guerra

Would be a gem in the championship (possibly) but I get the feeling severe cut backs are going to be made for one reason or another.

Could be better. You don't score 13 goals in la liga if you're not good. In truth should be too good for the Championship... :ayatollah:

Only scored twice since Christmas though :(

I've translated this from the 3rd of May.

Javi Guerra signed for Cardiff
He will play in the Welsh team the next three seasons

Javi Guerra leave Real Valladolid to try his luck in England with Cardiff City, which has recently been relegated to the Championship League.

The front agreed with the Welsh team during last winter market and although the team had to continue in the top flight of British football, contractures conditions.

War signature sign a three-year contract duration and will try to return to Cardiff to the Premier as soon as possible. Her new record will amount to 1.8 million euros net per year.

Obviously some of it hasn't translated well but there's quite a few articles on there about Cardiff City.

Also Malaga are interested in Medel, cba to translate it but I'm sure it hasn't been posted on here before, with Bestikas interested we may get a good deal.

If that's true about him earning around 1.8m euros per year then the wages are not too hefty.

Cheers! Didn't think to watch it, but in will now  Exited, he can't get more difficult challenges than this.

No probs. He's in a right relegation scrap with Valladolid too.

Have to say he looked good. Good positioning and good work rate looking for goals. Tracks back and close down when needed.
Sounds to good to be true if this guy sign for us, but great deal if he does imo. Cheers again :ayatollah:

Javi Guerra just scored, earning a draw against Real Madrid. Hope he is motivated for championship next season.

No he didnt, but he looked good

Looks like he can hold the ball up well and good movement. Looks good let's just hope that he can do the business in the championship

Re: Javi Guerra

He looked a lot better than Campbell. Good skills, hold up play, didn't get to see too much of his finishing as he was against Real Madrid...

Re: Javi Guerra

I am still of the opinion that we will not see him in a City shirt next season.

There will be some sort of buy out of the pre-contraxt he has signed just like we did with Juan Cala

The Valladolid chairman said, even after we'd been relegated, that Guerra is "Still joining Cardiff City for sure"

If I keep saying it won't happen then I'll be nicely surprised when he starts our first game of the season.

Been looking for a recent Guerra quote on this matter but cannot find anything.

I will believe it when it comes from his mouth now that he knows we are relegated.

I assume we made him an extortionate offer for a Championship player. One that could not be matched by the teams in the lower reaches of the Spanish top league.

Lower Spanish teams pay pennies.
