Tottenham Hotspur have expressed an interest in signing Cardiff City's David Marshall and Steven Caulker.

The Bluebirds could face losing several of their top players this summer after relegation was confirmed against Newcastle United last week.

According to the Mirror, the North London outfit are keen to bring 22-year-old Caulker back to White Hart Lane just a year after leaving the English capital.

Spurs are allegedly also interested in Scotland goalkeeper Marshall, who signed a new four-year contract with the Welsh club in February.

Caulker has a release clause in his contract, while Marshall is allegedly valued at £6m.

Marshall would be a solid bet as Lloris is going.

Hope Marshall stays - I can see a few teams looking at our number 1 .

we would have to sell him for 20 million just to get back our initial outlay ( and he is not worth that unless he goes to brazil )

i am sure he will go to liverpool as they need home grown talent to make up their champions league squad and he fits the bill.

If they want him we can ask whatever is in his get out clause as no one here knows what that is we will have to waif and see. As for the 50 percent sell on fee you must be on fantasy island if you believe that so if we asked 16m if that 50 percent was correct the we would get 8m for him. See how easy it is to work figures out if you make up the facts

these clauses are normally 50% of any profit...im sure this one is too. .if it was 50% of fee youd never have clubs willing to sell

Tim Sherwood is almost certain to lose his job so where are these rumours coming from...i know Levy is hands on, but just cant see them chasing high profile managers without being prepared for them to sign who they would like..or at least have a say....

Wonder how many clubs these players are going to be linked with?? It's a nonsense but it uses up column space I suppose.

Fine let it happen. Caulker was never ever going to stay if we got relegated. Marshall can go and sit on their bench if he wants to for a big salary, but he is not good enough for a top PL side; great shot stopper but never improved his close up catching and defending from corners etc since the disaster at Wembley v Blackpool.

Oh for some clubs to come in for Kim, Gunnarrsson, Cowie, Taylor etc. That would be great news.

Exactly. How does anybody on here know what's written in any players contract?
'I heard' ..... 'Someone told me'.
It's all guess work but I suppose it'll go on all summer on here lol
