Which one of these strikers would you play to fire us back into the Premier League?
Sun May 04, 2014 5:11 pm
If I had to pick one then Fraizer
Sun May 04, 2014 5:14 pm
A fully fit Maynard would be my pick ..

Campbell
Maynard is lazy, came back overweight over the summer and barely set the world alight with his loan spell at Wigan

You gotta remember Cambell came to us on the back of a nasty injury and there were more than a few eyebrows raised when Malky signed him.But he has eventually repaid us after a sluggish start due to his injuries and I think Maynard would do the same.Besides if Cambell moves on Ole may have to do with Maynard as he's already ours.

A fully fit Nicky Maynard is a lot better than Frazier Campbell. No doubt about it.

Sluggish start? He scored 5 in his first 5

Campbell's form when he came here was brilliant despite being injured but I would just prefer a new strike force, we have not had a goal scoring striker for over three years now. My best hope is Mason but he's better behind the striker, similar to the role of Daehli and Kim

Maynard looked quite sharp in his few games for us although he never scored he looked a real handfull.
Quite disappointed how he looked pre-season, but we just spent £8 million on a kid and we had campbell, but still poor.
He used to scare the cr*p out of me when he played for the worzells, has he recovered for his injury ? it took campbell 18 months

Campbell will rip the championship to pieces.

Neither. Jordan Rhodes please.

Get money from Medel & Someone else and get him in

Campbell would do a job, I don't think Maynard is up to much.
Rumoured 5m and Campbell can go though.

Both together in a 442 with Daelhi and Noone out wide and Witts in the middle. But if I had money to spend Rhodes is by miles the best to get for this league. Hudson back as well to organise.

both quality players at championship level.
Campbell should get 20 goals next season if he plays.
Sun May 04, 2014 11:57 pm
Has to be Maynard for me, I think we should let Campbell go for 5 mil, lot of money considering we payed like half a mil for him! And I just like the idea of Maynard up front.

Hasn't he struggled at wigan tho? 1 in 8 something like that?

Can't believe people would pick Maynard over Campbell. Campbell can hold his head high after this season. Don't think Maynard has fully recovered from his injury. I would pick Mason ahead of Maynard at the moment.
I will be gutted if Campbell goes for 5million. Nice profit on him but he will easily get 20 goals at championship level which could send us straight back up.
That Rudy Gestede looks a player at Blackburn, how about him to partner him?

Why do we have to choose? Both have different qualities, Fraizer is faster and works harder but is not a natural goal scorer, while Nicky is a clever forward who takes up good positions and is more of a finisher but lacks Fraizer's work rate and pace.

I think either will suit Mason, as he come short to the ball whereas Campbell and maynard want it over the top.
Be good to see if Joe has put any weight on though, he was too weak last season
