Welcome back folks! (Watford Fan)

Sun May 04, 2014 1:00 pm

Hey guys.

Just wanted to say that I am already looking forward to coming over to Cardiff next season. Never fail to have a bad time when I do get to visit and I think you have got a great shout of going up next year.

Bit gutted that Malky got the heave-ho, would love him back at ours this summer but I think he has got his eyes well and truly set on the Norwich job. Have a good summer chaps and I'll see you all next season.

Love my trips to Watford, always stay in a nice little pub in Chipperfield called the 2 Brewers and also have a few pints in the cricketers near Kings Langley :bluescarf: :old: :bluescarf:

Although it looks an absolute dive I can't wait for Watford away. Although that old pile of shit stand won't be there. That's one of the things I wanted to see

Totally agree, real caring fans about their clubs, not cherry pickers.

The championship is where the real fans live.

Yep by the time you all come to vicarage road, we will once again have four stands. I reckon this will probably mean that away support will be allowed a larger allocation than in previous years.

In terms of football this season has been a bit of a disaster, although 13th for us in a historical context is ok, with many fans feeling we have underachieved. Zola lost the dressing room, and Im not sure even now that the new chap is completely in control of things. I reckon we can push for playoffs next year, but we have a serious rebuilding job to do before then.

If you can keep hold of most of your squad you should be there or thereabouts at the top end of the table.

Hornet I thought you didn't think a lot of Malky before? Dyche showing some qualities though, must make you you what could have been.

Ahh what I said was Malky needed to be given time to get you up as I did not think he would do it in his first season. I still think he is a top manager, his man management skills are exceptional. I felt very sorry for Dyche as he did a great job in his first season with very limited funds, but we did get in Zola who gave us one hell of a first season with some great football. In the long term we may have been better off sticking with Dyche, but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

How do you feel Ole will get on in the championship? I like him, but I get the impression he has really struggled in the premiership.
