Relegation agin next season?

Sun May 04, 2014 12:05 pm

You only have to look at what happened to Wolves to see it could happen to us as well, some of the squad will move on in the summer the rest will stay still on premiere league money any new players that come in will want the same wages.

Players that will leave = Marshall, Caulker, Cala, Noone, Medel, Mutch, Daehli and Campbell. Bellamy to retire.

That's a lot to replace in the summer, maybe too much.

We could be the next Man City, Southampton or even Portsmouth..

I for one do not see us bouncing straight back next season.

As I posted before one season wonders do not do double relegations. It's always clubs that have had a few years, their hungry champ players have lost their desire and the prem players think they're too good for the league.

We're more likely to finish mid table. Although the way parachute payments have gone playoffs would probably be quite realistic.

With all the fans infighting again and more demonstrations still to come next season due to the stupid rebrand, I can defiantly see us in league one by this time next year :old:

Hopefully the summer will bring some calm and order back into the club, with the fans getting behind the team for a big push on a return to the premiership. Wasted this season with infighting, need to get behind the team in whatever guise we find it. :ole:

Most of the dead wood will be gone as their contracts are up and we will sell about 3 at most of the ones you have mentioned. It all depends on what Tan wants, if he is happy to keep running the club he will most likely give Ole more money to spend to get us straight back up.

How many clubs have gone straight back up in the last ten years?

Will be interesting and we could finish anywhere.

My worry is the total lack of steel in the side, we're lightweights.

Say what you like about Malky but we had steel in the Championship.
