Who do fans fear administration?

Sun May 04, 2014 9:37 am

Swansea - administration - still in the English game and have flown to the top division.

Leeds - administration - in the Championship after a tough period but they still play in their usual white kit. Yeah I know that was changed years ago but the truth is, they entered administration and the club still stands there today.

Palace - administration - where are they now? In the Premier League after years of rebuilding.

Derby - administration - currently sat in the Championship playoffs

Southampton - administration - currently doing very well in the Premier League and got promoted due to players who wanted to play for the shirt, some of whom are still there now doing the same in the Premier League.

Why are we scared of administration? Yes we will lose a lot of our players and probably have to play the likes of Ralls and hope the youngsters do the job but I remember Southampton's youngsters doing a job for them. Why? Because they were proud to be playing for the shirt. They played with passion. Something a lot of those players who went out there yesterday didn't play with at all.

We are just delaying the inevitable in my opinion. We may as well just force Tan out and take the hit now like the Jacks did all those years ago. He had his shot. The majority of fans gave him time but Tan's project has failed and we're going back down. We're back to where we started just with more debt.

I really don't fear administration. The notion we won't have a club is nothing more than pure scaremongering. The fans, the community, etc. are the club - they will come together, even if its just 100 or 5000 and they will not see the club die. The club wont die.

There's loads of fans saying this relegation didn't even bother them that much and that's because it wasn't the Cardiff City they know and love that got relegated. It was Tan's sham of a club he put together when he rebranded the club and started turning the place into Cardiff City Circus Academy.

He is the root cause of all the issues. It's time for Tan to sell up and let us be!

I do not fear administration.
I fear not being able to come out of administration and the club being stripped of everything and wound up.

That wont happen though. The fans and community wouldn't let it happen. Worse case scenario is a phoenix club like Leeds United.

Where were the fans and community when we were actually in court facing a winding up petition by the revenue that would have meant that the club ceased to exist.
The answer nowhere to be seen just as they wouldn't be if tan baled out in the next few weeks.
You need an agreement from 75% of creditors to come out of administration which means we would still be beholden to tan to achieve that.
Administration means goodbye to the parachute payments as well so not an option in my opinion.

Because it means you wont be very good for a while, something unthinkable for the insatiable appetite of the Cardiff fan who puts short term "success" over the well being of the club.

This and a lot of it is because you're in the PL and the thought of being behind you for a good few seasons at minimum is something some fans cant accept. Time we forgot about you and focused on our own club and sorting the mess out.

Spot on, its been a very expensive session of keeping up with the Jones'.

What I find incredible is that so many have destroyed their club just to try and keep up with us.

i dont think anyone fears admin to be honest.............i think you might look into how a football club finds itself in admin..........not very likely in our circumstance
