That comment is being made fun of on planetswans.

I was a big fan of OGS but his stint with you guys has really tarnished that. I would have been happy with him as our manager at the time, im just glad you guys took the plunge on him and not us :D

Ian I wondered what planet Ole was on, we never had a shot on target for 28 minutes and Newcastle had already got Marshal to pull of some great saves. We played the worst form team in the Premier League, who had lost their previous 6 games.

We attacked them yes and finally created chances, but there looked like no real game plan and they looked a defeated team for most of the game. We have been hammered week in week out, no more excuses Ole, be honest.

Not sure if you guys watched wrong match. But we had 5 clear cut chances, first one after 5 minutes when Cambell puts it we'll over. Ole is right about everything he said, but we can't score and we can't defend. But no point go about making things up!
All good not being happy with performance, but at least get your facts straight

Were any on target in the first 28minutes? I admit I was watching the game from the gods of the stadium.

A shot off target doesnt mean its not a clear cut chance

Watched this game live on US TV, as I have done every game this year and OGS is absolutely correct. We had more clear cut chances in this game than any other I have seen this year. The score line flattered Newcastle with the last two goals coming after we had most of the play for the second half. It was a result that sent us down but we showed more promise than I have seen for a long time. Give credit where credit is due to Sunderland for staging a great comeback that deserves to keep them up but don't be so gloomy to believe that we can't get back up.

Swapping 3-4 players weekly dont help the side annis lets be fair, i mean you dont even see a player on the bench for two weeks and the next thing bang hes in the side yet been in the stands since then...TINKERMAN OLE even changed a winning side for the next game ( when we did win ) :laughing6:
