The difference between Cardiff and the rest

is a quality striker who scores goals.

I firmly believe that the acquisition of a goal-scoring striker would have changed (and will change) everything.

You might say that Cardiff's defence is still shit. Yeah. But defence starts at the top, and with teams knowing we have sh!t strikers, they are more willing to go forward and have more confidence in doing so. Other teams are willing to take bigger risks because they know we don't have the firepower to capitalize.

Jones is horrible and lazy.
Campbell is a hard worker, and will probably do fine in the championship.
Berget has potential, but (for now) lacks the combative attitude needed in the championship.
Javi Guerra will probably score a few, but is getting older.

So, what would be your choice?

Austin? Finnbogason? Rhodes?

Personally I'd like to see McCormack back , if he can score that many goals for Leeds , What would he be capable of in a decent side?!

Premiership quality no, but for the championship he's just what we need!!

Good post, I have been saying the same, because of the lack of Striker, our best hope of survival would have been a defensive Manager, although boring and not nice to watch, we would have picked up more points and could have still survived, like Palace who also didn't have a decent Srtiker....
