Grim all round. The fact that at 1-0 down, we were still very much in the game and Newcastle's fans were deserting them only made it worse. Yet again, we couldn't seem to get a shot off in or around the penalty area and even when we were a couple down, we could only pass the ball sideways and hoof it up. In the end, me made a shite side look great once again.

That belief and spirit Ole said we had, simply wasn't there. No fight or bottle from the players in the last few games, and as the season has gone, we simply haven't performed against the teams around us; the games we needed to win.

Having said all this, I feel Tan is ultimately responsible for the way the season has gone. Regardless of players coming and going and some not applying themselves, he has totally destabilised the club.

The best thing that could happen now, is not for us to simply go down to the Championship and rebuild, but for us to actually do a Pompey and drop down a couple of leagues, get new owners in, get our identity back and start afresh. That for me is the best thing Cardiff City could do in the next couple of seasons. After the false dawns under Dave Jones, we as fans have swallowed the rebrand and Malaysian cash in order to get over that final hurdle and into the PL.

Has it been worth it?

No - because this season won't be remembered for our football; it's not as if we arrived in the Premier League and had a good go at it but weren't quite good enough - we turned up, our owner threw his toys out of the pram and made some crazy decisions; managers and players came and went and it will only be remembered as a season in which we were probably the laughing stock of the entire league.

Rebuild the club from the top down. Back to blue. Even if it means dropping down a league or two over the next few years.

I new this the night we were promoted never felt like promotion felt like I had lost my club and the league position doesn't lie does it .its been awful and I agree we are broken as a club and tan is responsible
