Chelsea Protest

Sat May 03, 2014 4:04 pm

Since we are relegated now is the time to go full out in protest against tan. Empty stadium will show him that we mean business

Re: Chelsea Protest

Sat May 03, 2014 4:06 pm

There's not going to be an empty stadium. However it has to be a sea of blue and 90 minutes of abuse. Get the wanker out of our club.

Oh its easy now isnt it, pathetic, im not that two faced, Ive watched a season in the Prem thanks to Tan's cash, im not gonna start crying now.

Re: Chelsea Protest

Tan would be ok if he made some sound decisions as in return to blue with our old crest and get in a proven manager and give him some backing........simples :bluescarf:

This. 100% this.

It's rotten from the top down - but for all the issues with Tan, the players need to take a long hard look at themselves too. Their lack of fight and passion is shameful.

Hi posted months ago that if we had nothing to play for on the final game we should have an empty stadium .Chelsea could be going for the title in front of the worlds cameras and if we attend 99% the fans will be in the same colour as the away team.If it's a no show imagine the damage to the owner's ego .Would you rather tell your grandchildren you were part of the only time the stadium played empty or you were then when we lost 5-0 to Chelsea

Quite right :ayatollah:

Re: Chelsea Protest

Sat May 03, 2014 4:44 pm

there will be protests every game next season, as we lose all our newer fans if an empty seats is a protest :?

WTF. We started the season in red, didn't see many empty stadiums protests then......

Looks sad and pathetic, we were relegated because we have the worse team/squad, accept it and move on

Re: Chelsea Protest

Sat May 03, 2014 4:46 pm

Empty stadium would mean nothing as we've already paid our money. The best way of protesting is to be in that stadium, wearing blue and shouting for what you want, whether that be blue or tan out.

Oh I apologise. You've paid your money so formicate our heritage.

Why couldn't you have suggested this at this time last year?? Oh wait, we were top of the League, wanking over the red, you make me f*cking sick.

Re: Chelsea Protest

Don't worry, it'll be an empty stadium every game next season....

Re: Chelsea Protest

Sat May 03, 2014 7:26 pm

You live and learn.I never accepted the red but bit my lip as it provided a better financial stability to get us through sticky patch. There will always be a new buyer when we were stable so this year was about that.I have turned out to every game to support the team but always said when we were either safe or relegated I would support an empty stadium protest which would be a bit more effective at showing our position than singing Vincent Tan ,Vincent Tan you're a w..ker.

Re: Chelsea Protest

We were top team in the Championship and Tan put 35 million into the team. Newcastle were protesting against a Chairman who does not put money in and yet they are above mid table. Hull had a strange chairman and spent less and finished below us in the Chamoionship. It does not take a genius to realise the main problem was poor management (bad purchases and poor tactics etc ) ....

Forget your Tan protests. The team went down with a whimper. Maybe we can try to end it with a bit of dignity as fans. Forget the anti Tan rhetoric.

Tommy, as I live in Australia it is hard for me to protest. I was never happy with the red rebrand and believed that during the season we should be supporting the team because tan can't change anything half way through the season. I have not bought any 'tan' merchandise and wont until he leaves

Its not Tans cash though is it. Its the clubs. And he has now put you in -£100m in the red. (No pun intended)

Surely that cant be worth it to fans?

Got to agree. I'm not going anyway but not to do so to protest.

Oh how noble of you to do this now after we have been relegated. Where were you two years ago.

Re: Chelsea Protest

There's so much shit in this thread I don't know where to start.
There will be no mass walk out.
There will be no mass non attendance.
there will be no empty stadium at games next season.
There will be lots of fans enjoying the Championship games and match day just as most enjoyed this season, despite the problems.
The fans who boycott next season will not be missed or even noticed for their non attendance apart from when they appear on message boards telling everybody that they are better City fans for not attending games than fans who support the team by going to games.
I'm looking forward to seeing 90 mins of the Chelsea game and then eagerly waiting for the new season to start.

The first 9 months of the rebrand, the word protest was non existent.

It was a few times but the majority of people were scared about us going into shit if Tan left us.
