Who misses the Goodies

Iconic pub on the estate now a tesco xpress. Whenever im in llanrumney now its still odd going passed seeing it gone. A proper no nonsense cardiff local. Was rough as f**k but a good laugh too. There would be old blokes playing cards and singing then the druggie crew on the nxt table. Remember sticking skittles up for pocket money and meeting mam in the lounge as women didnt go in bar. Old man would then come in from the bar. Happy days indeed.

Mad pub that was. The lounge wasn't so bad but the bar was like the wild west lol on its day, id put that pub right up there with the toughest pubs in England and Wales, tough pub on a tough estate, and not the place for strangers to venture inside at one time though, the llanrumeny hall was even worse

Only went in there a few times and The Hall, rough as f**k.

Goodies was for llanrumney lot. Any stranger danger alert all the dealers scampered off to the bogs cos they assumed they were the undercover lot! Hall was mad as f**k too. When i was living on the estate it was the fox for us then closing time pile in the cars for marshland. Sorry for my nostalgia guys!
