Defender waits on FA Cardiff City.
Cardiff defender Juan Cala has until 6pm on Thursday to answer charges of improper conduct by the FA.
The Spanish centre-half was hit with the charge following an alleged incident in or around the tunnel following his dismissal at Sunderland.
Cala is out of the clash with Newcastle due to suspension but the likelihood is he will not feature again this season.
An FA statement said: "The charge is in relation to an alleged incident in or around the tunnel area after the end of the fixture, which amounts to improper conduct." Cardiff City added on their official website: "Cardiff City Football Club can confirm that Juan Cala has been charged with improper conduct by the FA following an alleged incident in or around the tunnel area after the Sunderland fixture."
