R Madrid
Bayern
Atletico
Barca
Dortmund

5 teams from 2 better leagues that would all beat anything the Prem has to offer.

It's lucky you don't have to play in the Spanish league then :laughing6:

The Spanish league certainly wouldn't let a mad man like Tan buy into our club and change our colours that's for sure. On that point alone it's a lot better.

Because it is... Bundesliga and La Liga (although the former is a league I watch and thoroughly enjoy) only have two teams. Yeah you can say Atletico are La Liga's 3rd team but they will probably end up like Bayer Leverkusen in the early 2000's because they are in mounts of debt (like most of La Liga to be fair) and have to sell to buy.

Until either of those two leagues get 4/5 teams that are capable of winning the league along with competitive mid-table sides then Premier League will remain the top league in the world.

I don't think it's the best quality wise but I think its the most entertaining.. the bundesliga you have bayern, Dortmund and laverkusan not many other teams compete and la liga it's the 2 madrids and Barcelona, in the prem you got man u man city arsenal Liverpool, Chelsea, a lot of underdogs can beat them too so id say its more entertaining

Some of them teams have lost to premiership teams this year.

U are missing the point.
There are 5 teams all capable off winning tge prem.
Man u
Man city
Arsenal
Liverpool
Chelsea
Then there are
Everton
Spurs
Newcastle
Who are capable of winning against the top clubs.
The who premier teams are off a high standard compared to other league clubs.
Even the championship is better the most top leagues.
So yes the prem is the best and hardest to win.

I can see what your saying but surely they should say it's the most competitive or exciting perhaps. As quality goes the other mentioned leagues are advancing a lot quicker.

Yes I would agree the top 2 in spain are better then teams in the prem
As is the same can be said in Germany.
But it goes in cycles as a few years back the prem had 3 sides in the semis and 2 in the final.
And week in and out every club has to adapt a diffrent system of playing and formation as every team is diffrent and can cause u problems.
How many stoke or west ham teams do the spanish league have

I suppose Villarreal a few years back and I think levante took points off one of them a few weeks back. Don't follow to much European football as much as before but the teams are there not as much as over here but they can still cause a shock.

Spanish, German and Italian teams tend to perform better in Europe because they have more experience of playing there because generally it is the same teams that have been dominating for decades. I would say the top teams in other leagues possess better quality but the overall strength in depth is far superior in the Premier League.

As a poster above states, La Liga clubs are in tonnes of debt but they will undoubtedly just get bailed out like they usually do. Bundesliga clubs will only get better because of the way their league is being managed. Serie A has never really recovered from the betting scandal and I can't see an Italian side winning the Champions League for at least another 5 years.

For years the premier has had the biggest global pull.
In asia 90% of football fans support premier clubs.
Yes the best club sides in Europe may not be in the prem, but the prem without dought is the toughest to win and if the top European clubs played in the prem I dougjt they would be able to cppe with the pace and physically our teams play at week in and out.
Add to that the amount of games we play and the weather we play in all year round.
Yes the prem is the best and most exciting.

This is something that hasn't been re-visited for quite a while. Would Premier League teams perform better in Europe if the league season was shorter?
