Mark Hudson

If he was fit and featured this season (Caulker and Hudson CB pairing), do you think we would have been more solid at the back and maybe be in a better position, possibly safe?

Not saying we'd be mid table, but do you think we wouldn't have leaked so many goals?

He was our rock in the championship and pops up with the odd goal.

So do you think he would have made a difference ? Or not at premier league level?

nah not really, as annoying as its been watching Turner hoof the ball 60 yards all season, I don't think Hudson is good enough at this level either.

He is lacking pace.......but with caulker alonside him he could get away with it......he reads the game well and organises the defence better.....plus he is a captain and leader.

There aren't many strikers in the Prem with the physical presence of Cole, I think he would have coped pretty well against the others. I think we've missed his leadership qualities this season and the passion he brings to the game, seems like he genuinely cares about the team. Caulker's invisible as a captain and we might as well not have one.

Exactly what I think. Given time this pair could have complimented each other caulkers skill and Hudson's organising could have helped our ramshackle defensive unit

We've certainly missed his leadership.

In fact lack of leadership on and off the pitch, at every level, has cost us.

Caulker is not yet a captain but who else could you choose? no one really. That's been a big problem.

Player of the season last year, Deserved a chance. I truly believe we would be out of the zone if he played instead of Turner.
