Anyone else looking forward to next season?

Tue Apr 29, 2014 12:33 pm

This season has, in all honesty, been dreadful. The club has become the laughing stock of English football and we're seemingly going down without a proper fight (based on Sunderland away). Whether you're a Malky fan, Ole fan, Tan hater, Tan sympathiser we all share one thing in common, we're all Cardiff fans and most of us (I don't genuinely think there are that many plastics that support Cardiff, why would they, we're shit and don't play exciting football) will be supporting the team next season.

I for one am starting to get excited by the prospect of next season, whether it be in the Championship or the Prem. I think Ole has had a bit of a mare so far, but he's working with players who he didn't sign and who don't fit the system he wants to play. I know Molde were playing in a far inferior league, but if you watch the YouTube footage of their goals etc. they were playing some sublime stuff, the sort of football we manage to produce maybe once a game. Ole needs to be given this transfer window to sort his squad out, get in players that he wants and knows can play his system.

I honestly wouldn't be upset if we lost most of the players we have at the moment (with the exception of Whitts (just because he's a legend), Daehli, Marshall, Mutch and Noone) because most of them look like they couldn't give a shit about the team or the city.

Whether we stay up or down, I'm excited.

Not the end of the world is it really. There is more to life and all that.

When the referee awards a throw in, which shouldn't have been, grown men foaming at the mouth swearing at him. Jesus Christ, just calm down.

Too much hatred in the game.

really depends on how much more shit we have to put up with from mr.tan......it feels like he has the ability to make the season feel so much worse....just my opinion.. :ayatollah:

Not atm, but it will be good to have a break, watch the world cup and then I will look forward to it and maybe winning a few more games. If not I'll have a moan and a discussion on the messageboards then get the fwck over it. :ayatollah:

To be honest, which ever league we are in, I and I supect many others won't really enjoy watching Cardiff again until the re-brand is reversed and the supporters can once again all feel galvanised. I have tried to be as pragmatic and logical as possible over the issue, put it to the back of my mind when watching City, but if I'm honest, it's just not the same any more, a large part of the enjoyment of supporting your club is the bond to the club and your fellow supporters, the re-brand has done its best in breaking it. However, a team playing good, passing, attack minded winning football next season, may change my mind. :laughing6:

I look forward to EVERY season (including this one) and will continue to do so...

Can't say the same about EVERY season's end, though!

Yes mate I am. Premiership prices over priced. Lack of tickets. I hope though we get large crowds due to the extension of our ground but I'm hoping we will pick up new fans in the meantime. It will be nice to get some wins next season to get the atmosphere back again. Can't wait to be honest. Once a bluebird always a Bluebird

Yes, I'm looking forward to next season :bluescarf:

Whatever happens in the next two games, once we've had a few weeks off, and re-charge the batteries, we'll be fine. That's how it always is.
