Where is our Ryan Giggs/Gary Monk

Hello Forum, long time reader, but new poster.

I would like to ask a question.

Where is our Ryan Giggs/Gary Monk?

If we were to get rid of OGS today, why dont we have a long term , passionate, club man who could take on a temporary position of manager and do a great job?

Why, as a club, do we not inspire these sorts of high quality passionate people?

umm. its not like every club has got a lifelong player just waiting to take the reins of management.

Monk is a bad example for me, dont think he will do well next season, and GIggs isnt going to get the job on a permenant basis (i dont think)

sure, the question is , whilst some clubs inspire long term, quality, club people, why dont Cardiff City?

Lol @ Whitts, but McNaughton is our Monk but not a Giggs figure.

Scott young is doing his badges

Macca would have been a good choice but Malky got rid.

Don't know if Hudson has any training badges but would be my choice.

You're right, we don't seem to have many players that care passionately about the club. Hometown 'hero' Bellamy couldn't give a f**k and the players who we've had for a while aren't management material.

With all due respect, there has been so much turmoil at your club over the past what? 10 years or so? That's probably the answer... For Garry Monk at Swansea there was a clear direction that the board wanted to send us in, and Monk bought into that (Even if we couldn't hold on to managers!).

For Giggs at United, the constant was Ferguson.

At Cardiff there always seems to be some sort of drama unfolding and that's probably why players get a bit restless and moved on for more security?

What about that painter and decorator who became director of football.

I just find it very upsetting, that whilst other clubs do seem to be able to inspire loyalty in long term players, our club is never one of those.

U dont have one as your have changed owners who there for change management who ther for chnge players.
We for the last 11 years have built stability and alltho we have changed management on sevral occasions the club has kept to the same system and brought in managers who will take over were the last left of.
Monk tate britton are all well drilled at what the club is about and when his playing days are up there will be williams.
We never change the way we play and the way we scout players.
It took us a long time to get to the success we have now but the the foundations were laid when the fans took over the club with the idea and club at heart.
This is what as a fan base u need to be looking at.
Untill this time u will never have stability as your owner will never let someone build a side in his own time.

the media like to think its bellamy but we all know where he stands.
id like to have seen mcphail kept on i always liked the guy.
naughts and huds is a candidate and well liked, but really the material?
whitts is a great servant but not built for that sort of thing.
cooper is doing a great job just below ole, and young is working his way up too.
but yeah, theres not many players about that stay at our club a great amount of time is there..
