Cardiff City defender Fabio vows to bounce straight back to Premier League - IF the Bluebirds are relegated

Cardiff City defender Fabio has vowed that IF the Bluebirds do go down they will fight to bounce straight back into the Premier League.
The chances of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men beating the drop took a big hit when they crashed 4-0 at the hands of fellow relegation candidates Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on the weekend.
That result sent the Bluebirds to the bottom of the table, two points from safety with just two games left to play.
Cardiff travel to Newcastle on Saturday and then entertain Chelsea on the final day of the campaign.
Brazilian defender Fabio said he and his Cardiff teammates have still not given up hope of saving their top-flight status, insisting victory in their last two matches could see them defy the odds.
But as the likelihood of a return to the Championship looms, Fabio, who signed a three-and-a-half year deal at Cardiff when he moved from Manchester United in January, out-lined his commitment to ensuring the Bluebirds bounce straight back to the top-flight
“I am definitely ready to fight if we go to the Championship. I will fight to get us back up if that is the case,” said Fabio.
“But we still have two games left and we still believe we can stay in the Premier League.
“If we do go down, I am ready to battle to get us back up. We can do that straight away, everyone at the club feels the same, but the focus now is on these final two games. If we win both of those we can stay up.”
From a personal point of view the 23-year-old defender said he is settling into life in the Welsh capital.
He spent six-and-a-half years at United along with his twin brother Rafael who is still at Old Trafford.
Fabio spent lasts season on loan at QPR as they crashed out of the top-flight.
Capped twice by his native Brazil, the defender is now committed to the Cardiff cause.
And he revealed he is just delighted to be playing football regularly after being left out of the picture at United.
Since arriving at the Bluebirds he has made 11 Premier League appearances and he is determined to add to that whether it be in the top-flight or down in the Championship.
Fabio added: “I am enjoying it at Cardiff. I can tell you one thing, at Cardiff I’ve played 11 games in two months, in six months at Manchester United I played one game.
“I wanted to play football, I love playing football that is why I came to Cardiff.”

To be fair he's now showing why he was at Man Utd for so long. Very good player.

Really impressed by Fabio, he looks an excelllent signing by Ole. At only 23 too plenty of time to improve his game with us. His link up play with Daehli is great.

When he pushed that Sunderland player over I thought tidy lol

Everyone else feels we can go back up at the club
So they have been discussing us being relegated it's not very professional as ole keeps saying we won't give up yet the players already are discussing the future in the championship

I wonder if anyone would notice if we swapped Fabio and Rafael for the final two games? I think we could get away with it

Liability, all over the place, don't know why he plays fullback because he does'nt know how to defend.

He more of a wing back in a back five rather thanin a back four, where he's a f*cking liability

I think he's done really well in the last few games and his partnership with Daehli looks really impressive, gets forward and now seems stronger and more aggressive. Is excellent on the ball. Best full back at the club - not that that is very high praise though.
Don't forget he's only a kid and a long way from home. I reckon he'll be an even better player when he settles in properly.

Him and Daehli down the left could cause chaos at Championship level. Be nice if we get a chance to see them in the Premier League again though.
