Young players offered pro contracts

Mon Apr 28, 2014 8:50 pm

I have seen all day that a influx of our youngsters have been offered pro-deals. Is this normal or are we taking cost-cutting measures and could see a very youthful City team next season?

Do you think we have a youth team for a laugh or something of course it's normal for the good ones to be given pro contracts.

I'm not sure if they're U18's or U21's, some sure to have featured for both sides but seen quite a few 'delighted to have been offered/signed pro terms with Cardiff' so was curious if maybe we were going to put more faith into our academy

Is it wrong to be curious that maybe our first team could be seeing more of our OWN players in our team? Sorry, I won't question it again to appease you

Got no quarrels seeing home grown lads playing for my team, much better than the current crop of squad who don't have a care in the world for the club

Got a lot of great talent waiting to come through, maybe us going down will be a good thing as we might able to do what Southampton did and build a team around young players produced through the academy
