Malky gets us to the Premiership, then Tan interferes to undo all of Malky's good work to take us back down. Clueless Tan is 100% to blame for our relegation. The sooner he goes and takes his fellow rats with him so we can get back to watching our team in blue whatever the level, the better. I wonder if those supporting Tan still think it's worth throwing away 100 years of our heritage just for this one, lousy season in the Premiership? I want my club back!

Tans biggest mistake was not getting rid of Malky earlier. it would have seemed harsh but if we was replaced before the start of the season we might not have wasted such money and had a chance.

Tan is to blame for our relegation by giving the useless Scot a massive budget

So you're saying you think we should have sacked Malky before the season began, despite Malky taking us into the Premiership by winning the Championship by 8 points? OMG! :laughing5:

Palace barely won under Holloway yet somehow got promoted. Malky got promoted in an extremely poor and inconsistent Championship. Look at how many games he won in his last 10. A boring drab 0-0 vs Charlton to get promoted fgs

Malky wouldn't have had the opportunity to take us up if it wasn't for tan and his belie tat the time in his manager !
Malky didn't do it on his own

A boring drab 0-0 draw against charlton ?

Stop exaggerating that game wasn't that good

It still Rates as the best and worst game I've ever been too . Best because of the outcome after the whilst land worst because of the game itself

Malky rebuilt a new squad for 1.5 million in his first season and took us to the play offs and Carling Cup final. A huge percentage of that squad Malky built in his first season was responsible for getting us promoted. Tan's money helped, but if a different manage was in charge, we wouldn't have won the Championship by 8 points. Wolves only spent a million less than us that season and they got relegated.

Tans money didn't just help , it made it possible to afford those players !
If a different manager was in charge we wouldn't have won the league by 8 points ? Probably not but it's just as possible we would have won it by even more points with a more attack minded manager .

Whittingham should have been dropped a lot earlier last season. He started really well but from January onwards, looked completely burnt out and Gunnarsson was running around like a blue arse fly trying to do his own job, plus Whittingham's job off the ball. For you not to see this and state Whittingham was one of our main players last season is baffling!

I have just complimented another poster in that other thread as he has said everything I was going to say. I don't think anyone can deny with the home games we had left, we would have finished the second half of the season better than we started the first half of the season. Obviously, that would have comfortably kept us above the relegation zone and this would have proved Malky spent the money wisely overall. Unfortunately, Tan stuck is nose in and the damage Tan has caused has probably relegated us.

you just seem to assume that we would have walked to wins against the rest of the bottom half and why.... because we won two games :?

very very strange

I haven't said that at all. I'm saying we would have picked up better results at home with Malky than we did under Ole and that would have been more than good enough for us to survive. Where have I said I think we would have beaten every team in the bottom half at home?

A) Tan should have had a system in place where he had knowledgable people at board level to scrutinise managerial transfer requests

B) Malky was doing absolutely fine until Tan started sticking his oar into football matters and publicly undermining him. If he'd left him alone to manage , despite the boring style of play and with the same January transfer funds as ole, I'm certain we'd be safe of relegation

Yes a sandwich short of a picnic who is a billionaire, christ.

He's not to blame for this season, he gave Milky and his team all the tools to work with yet they fucked it up. Tan is guilty of many things but getting us relegated is not one of them.

If it was your money you would have given malky more money to spend in Jan after the mess of transfer in the summer? Really?

You kinda agree with my other point. As soon as Tan realized he wasn't the man he should have sacked him, it took far to long.

Relative to keeping city out of the relegation zone , with view to avoiding relegation malky was successful. Tan meddling and then hanging out the dirty washing in public caused the club to slide. When relegation comes Tan must accept the blame IMO

Malky kept it in the media more than tan.
