It's not over!

Sun Apr 27, 2014 9:16 pm

Yes we lost a massive game 4-0 which has left Cardiff at the bottom of the table with 2 games left but until we here a final whistle that confirms relegation surely as fans we should get behind the team as we do not know when we could be back in the premier league.

This afternoon summed up our season on the pitch. We defended pretty poorly and have conceded far too many goals even the teams around us have had no trouble scoring. In the forward areas we have obviously lacked a goalscorer and too many chances too the midfield has meant there has been no continuity and nobody has been able to get a run of games.

Off the pitch our key mistakes were the players we signed and both Malky and Ole need to take responsibility as they had decent money to spend. Apart from Caulker and Medel no other player we signed has really established themselves as a regular. When you consider Hull added Huddlestone, Livermore, Jelavic and Long you realise how they have done so well as all are good premier league players.
Out of Cornelius, Brayford, KTC, Zaha, Eikrem, Daeli, Fabio, Bergat are 8 players only 1 had premier league experience.

With regards to the players who came up from the championship team probably only Marshall and Mutch have shown enough premier league quality and this is another factor that maybe has been underestimated

If sunderland win 1 game from 3 remaining then you need to win your last 2.

if under estimated it was only by MM......was involved in and heard many convos last year regarding how many were good enough to step up......we had very little quality last year, just a game plan for hard working players to get results....as the quality of opponents rose the chances of getting results by this method diminished...

It's over we need to rebuild properly in the championship get a decent style of play that we can stick to and go from there , our team don't play well together just a bunch of individuals there is no team chemistry.
