I took my lad to the game today along with a mate and his lad (they happen to be Sunderland fans). It's only after talking to them that I realised how fragile the confidence is in other clubs. If only we could have shown more attacking threat. The lack of courage shown by Whittingham when he ducked out of a 50 / 50 with Cattermole early on told me it was going to be a tough day. It's a great shame because you see a young talent like Daehli, a super little player but one who needs others to be on the same wavelength. The likes of Cowie will never be. The painful truth is there are too many in this team who are just not up to the mark. It was great to hear the support, even at the end and for those making a 600 mile round trip, well done. Ours was only 400 and if anyone noticed a young lad doing the Ayatollah in a Sunderland shirt down the A1, it was my mate's lad who I think secretly would rather be a City fan!
