A forum for all things Cardiff City

We are where we are because we are the worst team in the division. We don't score enough, we concede too many and there's no more than five of the squad that are good enough to play in this division.
We have the fourth worst home record in the division and only Norwich have a worse away record. Add to that we have just got battered 4 - 0 by the team WITH the worst home record in the division and until today had only scored 10 goals at the stadium of light all season.
They almost knocked in half that amount against us in 90 minutes!
No point in moaning about decisions that have gone against us or rank bad luck, the truth of the matter is that we haven't been good enough on the pitch regardless who has been in charge, and we have been an embarrassment off the pitch.
We could win our next two matches (highly unlikely after today's showing) and still go down.
I am also starting to worry for next season in the championship. It's a brutal league and we are currently a soft touch.
I'll be there (as always) but let's not kid ourselves that we're going to go straight back up. Ask fans of Wolves, QPR, Blackburn etc how difficult it is once you drop out of the Premiership.
Don't get me wrong, it's been far worse being a city fan over the years but this season just hasn't been enjoyable at all, and if I'm honest I'm glad we've only got two games of it left.

how do you know it will be better when tan is gone? plus what has that got to do with his post

The post hasn't got much to do with Tan to be honest. He's made some stupid decisions but I'm also aware that he hasn't been responsible for everything that has gone wrong and has been, let's say, misguided by some people in the boardroom who have had their own agendas for whatever reason.
Anyway I'm more concerned about the lack of fight we have been showing, granted anyone who truly believes the players have CCFC at heart are probably clutching at straws, but professional pride is also at stake and many of the players don't seem to want to play for professional pride.
I'm all for being the worst side in the league as long as we scrap for everything but we haven't.
I am not sure whether it is fitness or the way they are coached but the better teams are just as good without the ball as they are with it. What I mean by that is they do not give the opposition time on the ball, hound in packs and force the errors. We don't. We did last year a bit, especially towards the end of the campaign, but this season we've just sat back and let other teams play and I don't know why because they are better than us and will eventually find a way through or around us.
I just feel let down by some of the performances this season. (And this no way a knee jerk reaction to today's result, it's been plain to see too many times this year.)

Given the money hes laid out it should be a whole lot better.
Anyone who defends ANY of Malkys signings last summer is a f*cking idiot.

That goes without saying - fortunately or unfortunately depending on your point of view!!!
It's in the blood....it'll always be in the blood. You have to take the rough with the smooth - it's just this rough bit is very difficult to take at the moment!!!
