What has the premiership brought?

Sun Apr 27, 2014 4:49 pm

You this season - we were promoted as champions - going into the promise land - we had turmoil for a few months over our manager - some will say one of the greatest some will disagree - we have had rebrand that has divided our fans - stadium as lost total passion from once an intermediated set of fans for vocal support - were still millions in debut with past promises - sour grapes over teams vesting us - shirt states pride and passion - we were hammered by Swansea with put any fight for shirt ! Fans travelled away in thousands to back team and near full houses at home marches for out traditional colours and now we sit bottom of the English premier league !

Ive enjoyed it. As fans we should concentrate on football but we insist on knowing everything and getting involved in the politics. When that happens itwill turn it sour for anyone.

Mallo, the Premiership was what I and many other thousands of City fans dream of.

We finally got there  but thanks to our circus of our club of the field of play, which eventually went through our club and spilled on to the pitch. I honestly can't wait for this season to be over and I will look back on this season with hardly any good memories.

We are a divided club and a divided club will never succeed whilst a Tan is here.

Spot on Carl. The fault lies with vinny tan. The man has totally ruined what should have been a fantastic season.

Safe journey home to the loyal fans.

Fully agree Craig I've really enjoyed it. Never expected us to be winning and just took it as a fun ride now that we finally made it to the top, I'm disappointed that we're relegated but its not the end of the world we've been relegated before and will again.

For once Carl I totally agree with you.

A learning experience for the club, the players and the fans. I agree with roathie on this one!
If it was that easy to build a stable and self sufficient club then everyone would do it. That is a lot of hard work and takes an awful long time, probably would experience a relegation or two while the rebuilding process happens.

Honestly , I haven't enjoyed it as much as I thought I would (chase better than the prize). The re brand has affected it as well, fans haven't been united all season (red v blue) .

Lets be honest,it's been a nightmare of a season off and on the pitch.I'll be glad when it's over.Roll on the championship, back to reality.

to me it's brought the brutal realisation that the Premiership is as unforgiving as we were told, and that to be successful you need to be united from the top down - and we are not.

It's almost as if we've been in one of those movies that someone has gone from poor to rich and lost everything and everyone he loved in the process in the clamour to get to the top.

In these films there's always a happy ending where common sense prevails in the end - however in this movie I can't see that ending happening any time soon.

What was a dream for many years has turned into a nightmare, one from which we still have not awoken from.

My fear is that, given the same management & set up that we currently have, this nightmare will continue into next season.

Really hope not - sometimes have to backwards to go forward but could not handle another year like this season so disappointed fans really do deserve more ! :bluescarf:

The board need to make some important decisions during the summer to get the fans back onside and bring some sort of normality back to the club, only then i feel the club can move forward.
