Starting Lineup
1 David Marshall
28 Kévin Theophile Catherine
4 Steven Caulker
27 Cala
35 Fábio
19 Don Cowie
8 Gary Medel
18 Jordon Mutch
7 Peter Whittingham
29 Mats Møller Dæhli
10 Fraizer Campbell
1 change from the team that did good against Stoke and Soton. Those who wanted the same 11 is also many of those who complain about Kimbo every game so todays lineup was a improvement for most of the whiners.
And looking at this it is probably our strongest side for this match as Cowie fits much better against an aggressive Sunderland midfield than Kimbo does.
Another thing that makes it even better for the haters is that he used Malky tactics today so we cant hang him for changing the squad and making 7 changes.
My verdict is that Ole got the lineup and tactics right today.
Then it raises another question.
WHY DID WE LOOSE?
Cala got the red card, we can discuss it all we want but it was given and we had to adapt to it. I felt it was a wrong desicion to give penalty but the red looked ok.
But the biggest reason we lost today was KTC who i feel was responsible for 3 goals.
He lost 2 challenges against Wickham and had a extremely poor trip up the field where he gave the ball away with a horrible pass that ended in a counter attack goal.
And the final reason we lost, we aint good enough..Easy as that.
We have now had 2 managers that have failed to produce results. It aint bad luck or bad refs anymore.
My opinion is that we cant put this on Ole today. He cant go out there and help KTC or tell Cala to not get a red card.
What do you guys think about todays lineup and KTC?

What you said there is what i feel is the biggest difference in Malky and Ole.
Malky would probably been smarter result wise and maybe gotten a 1-2 result in the end which is honorable being 10 men.
Ole decided to give it all we had and still go for the points, he then suffered a 0-4.
But in the end it gives us 0 points.
Today is the players fault, Ole cant help that they dont have what it takes to win these important games.
