Soccer Saturday boys creaming over Rambo

Say he's Arsenal's player of the season even tho he's missed half the season and you can't argue with that really. Bloke in work said when we sold him for a shocking £5m you can put a 3 in front of that for his next move and it will probably be R Madrid - not a bad shout. He saw as most did (apart from DJ) his potential. Is great to see and great for Wales. Would be quality to have 2 Welsh players in the Madrid team :ayatollah:

Such a good player in everything he does. Very rare you see someone like him so good at going forwards these days. Anyone can pass backwards or sideways but it takes skill and heaps of confidence to play it forward as often as he does. If he hadn't got injured you could say he'd give Suarez a fight for POTY

Wish we had a Wales squad of Bales and Ramseys

It would certainly piss off the English with 2 Welsh players at RM.

Alonso is ageing, Kheidra is slightly unconvincing for me and Modric has been amazing this year, they also have that guy from Real Soceidad who I haven't seen much of this year.

I reckon they could fit him in just about.

He's not going to Madrid

It's amazing what a year can do.

Last season my mate blamed him for everything bad that happened on the pitch for arsenal..most of the arsenal fans wanted him gone..now he's getting praise like this!

Can't see him going to Mardid as they have just spent a small fortune on young midfielders in Isco, Illyamenda and Jese. Modric has hit his best form at Madrid and Di Maria has suddenly become an outstanding centre mid.

Ramsey deserves all the praise this season and it's been clear to see that without him Arsenal have looked significantly worse.

On the whole the English press will continue creaming their pants over the vastly over-rated Jack Wilshere - who is not fit to lace Rambo's boots.

He's a class act, his energy and engine is ridiculous. He's got it all, he can tackle, he can pass, he's got the vision to play a pass, he can dribble, he can finish, got great technique, skills and most importantly what knits it altogether is his work rate.

Kind of makes me feel proud watching him do so well, knowing he's one of our own. Massive confidence player though and whilst his confidence is as high as it is, it's literally skies the limit for him. :thumbright:

With a fully fit squad to choose from, with Bale and Ramsey it could be our best chance of reaching the Euros.

What a team we'll have in 10 to 12 years time when Rambo and Bale come back to play for their home town club!

Jese came through their academy so didnt cost them a penny apart from his wages

the thing that pisses me off is that most could see what rambo was and is ,apart from the idiot dave jones who hardly used him and ridsdale for selling him too cheap , how the boy never started in the cup final still pisses me off, im just glad hes living up to the potential we all knew he had

I wouldn't call Dave Jones an idiot who actually gave Ramsey a chance where many clubs wouldn't, remember he's our youngest ever player at the age 16. He also played a total of 22 games in his last season which is quite a lot for a someone of that age. As for Ridsdale selling him for £5 million we were skint at the time and desperate for the cash, he should of gone for more without a doubt but we were too desperate to hold out.

I agree though that he should have started in the Fa Cup final

Just imagine we could have afforded to keep hold of him for another year or he got loaned straight back. I'm sure we would have gone up then instead of that dreadful end of season

Could play for Barcelona if he can replicate his form next season for me.
