Having overcome the cancer

Wed Apr 16, 2014 5:36 pm

I have started training again( a long haul back) at my age, but today entered the Snowdonia Marathon on October the 25th. Some will know I used to run them a lot, and in under 3 hours, last one was Cardiff ten years ago, need to lose a few stone over the next 6 months, but ill do it, baring injuries lol. Any sponsors, for cancer uk will be welcome. will keep you updated on training progress, four miles intermitent at moment :bluescarf:

Andy I have to agree with Lockey.
You are an ispiration.

I've been carrying a few extra pounds since I quit smoking in 2007.
I've been telling myself I need to shift it for long enough.
But the motivation is severely lacking.
Well you've just put me to shame pal. All the stuff you've been through and now your starting training for a marathon.

So thanks for the inspirational boot up my idle Backside good sir.
