Cardiff and Manchester City

I have supported the City for 48 years and one of the best atmospheres ever (and there have been many in that time) was for the first home game in the Premiership. And why? It was electric from the start with most supporters in their seats 15 minutes before the start. It was noisy and intimidating from the start especially when the opposition starting side was called out and when the game had started they had the ball. We need the same again to carry the team through. Can they do it? Yes - they can but the team need to know we are right behind them. So come on lads. Stop the moaning if things don't go well at the start. Intimidate the opposition - don't just talk about it - get behind the boys and make PLENTY of noise. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

One of my favorite days supporting the City, electric atmosphere all day, bank holiday Sunday, was absolutely off my tits all day. Woke up at 7am with a half eaten kebab on my chest not knowing who scored what. 3K city fans made a fair bit of noise that day until we shut them up. Have to say we were quite quiet until Dzeko scored then we perked up a bit and I fully believe the fans influenced and played a part in our comeback.

We need Ali to get the crowd going before the teams come out. Get some of the songs going early to get the crowd on their toes. In some games there's been virtually no noise until the teams come out then we get a little burst and then it goes flat again.

I will always remember the complete silence when Fraizer Campbell scored the third.

No one knew what to do. Then they went mental.

I don't go to away games but watching Fulham v Cardiff in my house on some scabby stream when Mutch scored is up there aswell.

I don't even think about the swansea win when I consider my favourite games form this season.

Totally agree Brezza, great post :bluescarf: :thumbright:

I asked after that game, can we keep that level of support for the remaining 18 home games.

Sadly we couldn't and it would be disappointing if all of us can't be up to supporting OUR team like that against Stoke and Chelsea.

Let's support OUR team and be like we were against Man City, or even Leeds (but without the coin throwing) and be their 12th man :bluescarf:

That was a wierd day. Great result, but it was strange when logically I should have been enjoying everything about of emotional detachment. Not just the kit (this was the 2nd season in red) but the sadness of seeing the vast majority of fans lapping up the rebrand :bluescarf:
