So do I. I've built computers since I was very young. Problem with computers tho is that about every 6 months prices drop dramatically as new parts come out. Was just wondering how much you're looking to sell it for?

I paid a lot of money for this one as you can see so I have no idea what it is worth today, so if I get an offer then I will look at it and see if I want to accept it or not. As you build computers you know better than me what it is worth, you can see whats inside it.

You could easily still get £500-600 for that maybe more

Bad luck mate, Sandy Bridge / Ivy Bridge / Haswell CPUs were a brutal movement forward from the Bloomfield/ Westmeres, you'd be lucky to get 400 for it today selling it for parts, especially since you populated all the memory slots with the lowest-possible DIMM sizes. You would have been able to get much more if you had bought 3x8GB modules instead, as the only remaining advantage of Bloomfield is the fact that some of the motherboards support 48GB RAM, more than corresponding consumer architectures of today (Sandy/ Ivy / Hasw. all capping out at 32GB)

If you were just selling the PSU, Motherboard, CPU cooler and CPU - I would be up for 250 but that would be it.

I think the problem will be "who is your market". Definitely not a gamer as that graphics card is low end and your average user would not want to spend that sort of money on a second-hand PC, so I don't know who would want that as a complete package. Technology is moving so much that an i7 Haswell with 16GB ram, a high end graphics card etc can now be bought for about £650. As soon as you buy a PC or laptop nowadays within a few months its out of date. Being realistic I think if you get £400 for that you will be doing well....

....and get rid of that Nortons shit :old:

Apart from the i7 (I got a i5) processor my laptop trumps those specs :ayatollah:
